my name is saskia astrid but you can call me saskia. okay, so i want to tell you about how it feels like to be a new college student this year. at first, i was scared because i know that the learning system and the teaching system is definitely different from High School. Normally, when i was in high school i have to wake up early in the morning and i should be at school at 7 a.m. in college, the schedule is not permanently, it can be change depends on the lecturer. sometimes i have class in the morning but sometimes in the afternoon. and the friends?i meet a lot of new people in here. the surroundings is very large and totally different from High School and also i have to be really careful in socializing from now on.
the negativity in college is the assignments are crazy than in high school and it has to be submitted exactly on the deadline that the lecturer gave me.
the way the lecturer explain the material is not as long as in high school. they are more concise and clear. and if you dont understand about the material they just explained, you better raise your hand and ask because if you really dont understand, no one can help you because in college, the people is individualist.
you cant judge a lecturer from their face. if you thought that they look nice on outside, it doesnt mean that they will give you a great grade. from that, i learn that i have to study and do whatever the lecturer told me.
